Size Guide

Tidal — Fit

Size guide

Tidal runs on two lasts: a men's last in EU 39–46 and a women's last cut from scratch in EU 35–42. Both the loafer and the slipper are unlined, so the suede relaxes roughly half a size across the first week of wear.

Finding your size

If you are between sizes, take the smaller one. The suede gives; the last does not. Pairs worn with a fine sock should be snug on day one — that is correct.

The slipper is cut on the same last as the loafer, so your loafer size carries over without adjustment.

Measure at home

  1. Measure at the end of the day, when the foot is at its largest.
  2. Wear the sock you intend to wear with the shoe.
  3. Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall.
  4. Mark the wall edge and the tip of your longest toe.
  5. Measure the distance in centimetres and match it below.

Notes on fit

Unlined suede

Expect about half a size of give in the first week. Do not size up to compensate.

Between sizes

Take the smaller size. A loafer that starts loose will slip at the heel once worn in.

Wide feet

The last is a medium width with a rounded toe. Broad feet are usually comfortable in their true size.

Still unsure

Send us a photo of the insole of a shoe that fits you well, with a tape measure alongside. We will confirm your Tidal size before the pair is dispatched.
